Your privacy is of great importance to Comexr B.V.. We therefore comply with the relevant laws and regulations on privacy, including the General Data Protection Regulation (further: GDPR). This means that we:
- Set out our purposes clearly, before we process your personal data, through this privacy statement;
- Storing as little personal data as possible and only the data necessary for our purposes;
- Explicitly request consent for the processing of your personal data, should consent be required;
- Take necessary security measures to protect your personal data. We also impose these obligations on parties processing personal data for us;
- Respect your rights, such as the right to access, correct or delete your personal data processed with us.
Your data is safe with us and we will always use it properly. In this privacy statement, we explain everything we do at the Comexr B.V. company with information we learn about you.

Your account on this website
Certain areas of our company may require you to register first. You must then provide information about yourself and choose a user name. We use this to create an account on our website, which you can log into using that username and a password of your choice.
We use your:
- E-mail address;
- Nickname;
- IP address.
We do this based on your consent. We keep this information until you cancel the account. We keep this information so that you do not have to fill it in again and again at the company and so that we can contact you more easily if necessary. You can edit information through your account whenever you want.
Order processing
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to process it properly. We may give your personal data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company. For this purpose we use your:
- Name and address details;
- Phone number;
- Billing address;
- E-mail address;
- Payment details;
- IP address.
We need these because of the contract we conclude with you. We keep this information until your order is completed. We keep certain customer data for longer in connection with the statutory tax retention obligation.
Provision to third parties
We cooperate with certain companies, which may receive your personal data mentioned above from us.
To handle orders, depending on the payment and shipping method, we cooperate with:
- Our payment providers Mollie B.V.; PayPal (Europe) S. Ã r.l et Cie, S.C.A.; Klarna Bank AB;
- Our postal companies Deutsche Post AG; PostNL N.V.; United Parcel Service Nederland BV.
Sending of newsletters
We have a newsletter and you will only be added to the list of subscribers with your explicit permission. In the newsletter, you will read news, tips and information about our products and services. We use your:
- E-mail address;
- First name;
- surname.
We do this based on your consent. We keep this information, until you cancel the subscription.
The newsletter is mailed once every six months. The contents of the newsletter include the following:
- News, tips, informative, promotion.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link.
Contact form
The contact form allows you to ask us questions or make requests. We use your:
- Phone number;
- E-mail address;
- Name.
We do this based on your consent. We keep this information until we are sure you are satisfied with our response and for three months afterwards. This allows us to easily access the information in case of follow-up questions. It also allows us to train our customer service to become even better.
Location information
Sometimes it is necessary for our company Comexr B.V. to find out where you are to show you the correct currency and VAT rates. We then ask separately if we are allowed to know this and only if you then give your consent will we receive this information.
For this service, we use your IP address.
Advertisements
Our company displays general advertisements. In doing so, we do not keep any personal data, so we do not find out whether you like them.
Provision to other companies or institutions
With the exception of the parties needed to provide the services mentioned above, we do not under any circumstances provide your personal data to other companies or institutions, except if we are required to do so by law (e.g. if the police demand it in case of suspected crime).

We keep statistics on the usage of our company.
Cookies
Our company uses cookies. Cookies are small files in which we can store information so that you don’t have to keep entering it. But they also allow us to see that you are visiting us again.
You can disable the setting of cookies via your browser, but some things about our company will then no longer work properly.
We have made agreements with other companies that place cookies. Nevertheless, we do not have full control over what they themselves do with the cookies. So please also read their privacy statements.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our company. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google. This contains strict agreements on what they are allowed to track. We have not allowed Google to use the Analytics information obtained for other Google services. We have Google anonymise the IP addresses.
Security
Personal data security is of great importance to us. To protect your privacy, we take the following measures:
- Access to personal data is protected by a username and password;
- We take physical measures such as locks and safes for access protection of the systems in which personal data is stored;
- We use secure connections (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL) that shield all information between you and our website when you enter personal data;
- We keep logs of all retrievals of personal data.
Changes to this privacy statement
Whenever our company changes, we naturally also need to update the privacy statement. So always note the date above and check regularly for new versions. We will do our best to communicate changes to you.

- Insight into the exact personal data we hold;
- Getting errors corrected;
- Having outdated personal data deleted;

Please make sure you always clearly indicate who you are so that we can be sure we do not edit or delete data of the wrong person.
We will in principle comply with your request within one month. However, this period may be extended for reasons related to the specific rights of data subjects or the complexity of the request. If we extend this deadline, we will inform you in good time.
Filing a complaint
If you would like to make a complaint about the use of your personal data, please email info@comexr.com. We will address any complaint internally and communicate this further with you.
If you feel we are not helping you in the right way, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the regulator. This is called the Personal Data Authority.
