Looking for a laptop without a WiFi module so that a wireless Internet connection and also Bluetooth are not possible? Do you prefer to use the laptop only with a wired LAN (ethernet) connection? At laptopmetlinux.nl we sell laptops which can be assembled without a built-in Wireless Wi-Fi module. We will then assemble the laptop without the Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 card. The WiFi antennas remain present but will not be connected. This way you can decide later on to build in a WLAN module.

The name Wi-Fi is not an acronym but a trademark created by a marketing company to serve as a compatibility label (certification) for products that support it. The trademark refers to IEEE 802.11x standards.
Wi-Fi is a wireless network technology that allows devices such as computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, cameras and nowadays also refrigerators, vacuum cleaners, lawn mowers, etc. to communicate with the Internet. WiFi allows these devices to exchange information with each other, creating a network.
Internet connectivity takes place via a wireless router. When you access Wi-Fi, you connect to a wireless router that allows your Wi-Fi enabled devices to connect to the Internet.
