Response from the company
Dear Benjamin, Thank you for your willingness to post a review! We greatly appreciate it. We are very pleased to read that you are very satisfied with our customer service. This is something we consider extremely important, especially when purchasing a Linux laptop. We have been in contact with you several times about the issue of ‘screen flickering’ on Ubuntu 25.10. As we indicate on our website and have also stated several times by email, we do not offer support for interim releases such as Ubuntu 25.10. These intermediate releases of Ubuntu come with only 9 months of support (updates) after release from Ubuntu. We only offer support for the LTS releases of Ubuntu, such as 24.04, which come with at least 5 years of updates/support from Ubuntu itself. It is therefore not the case that 25.10 does not function, but rather that we have not tested it and made it functional, so we cannot offer support for it. In April 2026, we will offer support for the latest Ubuntu LTS release, version 26.04 LTS. We therefore advise you to wait a little longer before using 25.10 and switch to 26.04 LTS in April. Thank you again for posting the review! Sincerely, LaptopwithLinux
